Basic ECG

BASIC Membership

This Basic Membership of ECG Academy consists of access to the Level 1 ECG course and Basic level ChalkTalks. The Level 1 course was designed for nurses, technologists, and students – anyone who wants to be able to correctly interpret ECG rhythm strips. It even covers complex topics in complex arrhythmia recognition such as Ashmann's Phenomenon and Torsades de Pointes. The Basic membership plan is suitable for:

  • Nurses or Telemetry technicians
  • Medical, Radiologic, Respiratory technologists working with cardiac monitors
  • Cath Lab or EP Lab personnel
  • Anyone taking Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Police, fire, rescue personnel involved in cardiac conditions

Advanced ECG

INTERMEDIATE Membership

The Intermediate membership level of ECG Academy includes access to the Level 1+2 Video Tutorials (which covers arrhythmias and 12-lead interpretation) and a Library of intermediate-difficulty ChalkTalks. Intermediate level membership is suitable for anyone who wants to learn to interpret 12-lead ECGs, including:

  • Medical Students, Interns and Residents
  • Cardiac Nurses (CCU/ICU, Cardiac Cath Lab, EP Lab, Telemetry Unit, Emergency Department), Advanced Practice Nurses
  • Physician Assistants

Advanced ECG

ADVANCED Level Membership- Available 2015

The Advanced membership plan will include access to Level 1 + 2 Course videos, all archived ChalkTalks (now over 150 of them at all levels of difficulty), and a weekly series of video discussions on advanced topics. This membership plan is for physicians who want to improve their ECG reading skills and for advanced students who need to be familiar with the finer points of the electrocardiogram and arrhythmias. Advanced members will have access to a growing library of video discussions on EP/ECG topics such as arrhythmia mechanisms, His bundle studies, PSVT mechanisms, idiopathic ventricular tachycardia syndromes, and pacemaker troubleshooting. Advanced membership is suitable for:

  • Practicing Physicians (Cardiologists, Internists, Emergency Physicians, or Intensivists) who want additional insights into ECG interpretation
  • Cardiology or Electrophysiology Fellows
  • Medical Residents interested in Cardiology
  • Cardiac Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners
  • Medical Students with an Interest in Cardiology
