You can earn Continuing Education Credits* with the Certificate Courses at ECG Academy. The New and Improved Certificate Courses provide a programmed, modular, self-paced approach to learning ECGs with unlimited access to all videos and ChalkTalks.
Certificate Courses are offered at two different levels of complexity: Level 1 (Advanced Rhythm Strip Analysis) offers up to 12 contact hours of continuing education and is approved for Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants who need to diagnose arrhythmias seen on a cardiac monitor. The combined Level 1 and Level 2 (12-lead Interpretation) course adds an additional 8 contact hours for nurses and PAs (7 for NPs), and is designed for those who want to be able to independently interpret 12-lead ECGs. Technicians, students, and physicians who want a certificate to claim continuing education credit for the time they spent learning ECG Interpretation can also take these courses from ECG Academy.
The Certificate Courses use our unique ECG Academy video tutorials broken into sections that each cover a particular topic. Click here to see the topics covered at each level. At the end of each section there is a short quiz to reinforce the information and to measure your proficiency. At the end of each course there is a final exam. Completion of the program qualifies the participant to receive a "Certificate of Completion," and nursing, NP, or PA CME/CE contact hours will be awarded.
Level 1 (Advanced Rhythm Strip Analysis) - $99.95 (includes two months of access). Awards 12 CE contact hours for RNs, NPs and PAs.
Level 1+2 (12-Lead Interpretation) - $199.95 (includes four months of access). Awards 20 CE contact hours for RNs and PAs, 19 for NPs.
Please Note: If you do not complete the course within the allotted time, a monthly access fee ($7.95 for Level 1 and $12.95 for Level 2) will be charged to your credit card until you complete the course or cancel your subscription.
