You can earn Continuing Education Credits* with the ALL NEW Certificate Courses at ECG Academy. The New and Improved Certificate Courses provide a programmed, modular, self-paced approach to learning ECGs with unlimited access to all videos and ChalkTalks. Every quiz and exam question has just been rewritten to ensure the best experience possible!
Certificate Courses are offered at two different levels of complexity: Level 1 (Advanced Rhythm Strip Analysis) offers up to 14 contact hours of continuing education and is approved for Nurses and can be used by ECG/Telemetry Techs who need to diagnose arrhythmias seen on a cardiac monitor. The combined Level 1 and Level 2 (12-lead Interpretation) course awards 24 contact hours to nurses, 24 hours of CME to PAs, and awards Nurse Practitioners 23 CE contact hours. It is designed for those who want to be able to independently interpret 12-lead ECGs. Technicians, students, and physicians who want a certificate to claim continuing education credit for the time they spent learning ECG Interpretation can also take these courses from ECG Academy.
The Certificate Courses use our unique ECG Academy video tutorials broken into sections that each cover a particular topic. Click here to see the topics covered at each level. At the end of each section there is a short quiz to reinforce the information and to measure your proficiency. At the end of each Level is a final exam. Completion of the program qualifies the participant to receive a "Certificate of Completion," and 24 nursing or PA CME/CE contact hours will be awarded. Nurse Practitioner may choose the Level 1+2 Certificate Course, which is accredited by AANP for 23 CE contact hours.
Level 1 (Advanced Rhythm Strip Analysis) - $149.95 (includes three months of access). Awards 14 CE contact hours for RNs and Techs.
Level 1+2 (12-Lead Interpretation) - $249.95 (includes six months of access). Awards 24 CE/CME contact hours for RNs and PAs and 23 CE contact hours to NPs.
Please Note: If you do not complete the course within the allotted time, a monthly access fee ($6.95 for Level 1 and $8.95 for Level 2) will be charged to your credit card until you complete the course or cancel your subscription.
